About Department:
The Sanskrit Department was established in 2009. General course were taught since 2009. Major Course started in 2024 session with 60 seats. Presently Major, Minor,
and MDC courses are available for students. Now there are two teachers in Sanskrit Department. They are carrying the flow of education. The particular objectives of the department
of Sanskrit are to guide and assist the students in the realization of knowledge and in various aspects of Sanskrit language and Literature. The department aims to provide
Confidence and opportunity to the learners, enabling them to move along the paths of wisdom.
Mission:
- Sanskrit is the most interesting and scientific language in the world.
- Sanskrit studies help in revitalizing India's morality. It help students to make positive sense in our ancient literature.
- To make learners eligible for higher education.
- The Rigveda is the lifelood of Indian culture and traditional of Sanskrit literature.
- Students can lead the world to better opportunities and positive environment in all Stream of a knowledge.
- Develop research aptitude and Creative thinking.
Vision:
The vision of the Sanskrit department is instruction in Vedas, Upanishads and related scriptures. The department aims to preserve ancient culture and heritage
through the Sanskrit literature and manuscripts. The department also aims to promote traditional Knowledge and show its relevance to modern society. The department plays leading
role to creative a conducive learning environment and engage students in the learning process.
